Preparing for Birth Together
This is a fun way to prepare together for your upcoming labor and birth. In this workshop, expectant couples practice movement and breathing techniques that can enhance comfort and confidence in pregnancy, and that will also help prepare mom for labour and delivery. You will learn poses to strengthen, open and relax your body and gentle massage and pain coping techniques.
During class we'll practice:
Sharing movement, breath awareness and touch while spending time together away from daily responsibility creates the opportunity for expecting parents to connect with their baby and nurture the growing family.
This workshop is recommended anytime during either the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. Prior yoga experience is not necessary and beginners to yoga are welcome.

- breathing techniques that support easier birthing
- stretches and toning joined with your partner
- birthing positions that can be used during labour
- connecting physically, emotionally as a couple and new family
